What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda means "the Science of Life," and encompasses the principles and practices of the world's most ancient system of natural medicine dating back 5,000 years. At Studio Ayurveda, Nasim Maani offers a complementary approach to health that is both preventative as well as restorative, while being completely personalized to your needs and your individual constitution.

Why Studio?

Life itself serves as a continuous workshop where we have the opportunity to show up each day in our personal studio and hone our skills toward becoming improved versions of ourselves. At Studio Ayurveda, Nasim focuses on supporting you in strengthening your practices and habits related to diet, sleep, lifestyle, movement, and meditation. We believe that health and vitality require a recognition of the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit and that with the right support we each have agency over feeling more vital and at ease.

A Holistic Approach to

Ayurveda is a holistic science that examines the root causes of illness and disease by looking at the inherent balance of an individual (constitution) and remedying the current imbalance. Due to this distinctive approach, a wide range of physical and mental issues can be effectively addressed even before they manifest. This is done through modifications in diet, sleep habits, lifestyle, movement and meditation that bring us closer to our inherent balance and to living with Nature.
